Neurology Office Policy:
We will not refill prescriptions after hours or on weekends. Patients need to call 3-5 days before the last pill to ensure continuation of medication, not on the day of the last dose. You may telephone the requests to 348-4024 or 348-4462, or you may e-mail Dr. Finkel or Ivette Maury.
We do not refill controlled substances by telephone. This office does not use chronic narcotic medications for pain management.
When Dr. Finkel is out of the office, the covering physician may agree only to refill medications until Dr. Finkel returns.
If you need a letter for a particular purpose, please let us know 3 days in advance, to ensure that it will be ready for your appointment.
If a university or college is asking for a letter to justify accommodations for an enrolling student, be sure to read what they require and let us know. Since some schools require neuropsychological testing for accommodations, this process can take 4-6 weeks and it should be initiated well before the student is due to enroll in school
