Introduction:
Dr. Cera is a nationally recognized expert in robotic colorectal surgery. She has successfully completed numerous types of robotic colorectal procedures including proctectomies, as well as removal of the left colon. Among the first to adopt this new technology, Dr. Cera has lectured and trained numerous surgeons in the United States and around the world.
Certified by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery and the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Cera has received multiple distinguished awards for her work, including recognition as one of "Consumer's Research Council of America: Guide to America's Top Surgeons" in 2008 and 2009, as well as one of Southwest Florida's "Top Forty Under Forty" Business Professionals by Gulfshore Life Magazine.
